The Move-A-Thon is Skyline PTO’s biggest fundraiser. The funds raised go towards all PTO programs in the following school year. Students raise money by collecting pledges from friends and family, and can earn prizes for different pledge levels, as well as whole-school rewards. On Move-A-Thon day, students run, roll, walk or jog as many laps as they can in 30 minutes. Top runners from each grade level will receive recognition.

This year, our theme is “Under the Salish Sea” and the event will take place on Friday, May 1st. We need a ton of volunteers to help run this event. Here are some jobs that you could do:

• Punch kids’ lap cards
• Supervise an optional obstacle (walk the plank, jump over hurdles, run through streamers)
• Hand out water
• Run the bubble machine
• Lead the cheering section!
• Hand out otter pops
